PG&E work may affect traffic through July

Commuters experiencing traffic delays on East Bayshore Road near Embarcadero Road should expect slowdowns for the rest of July. PG&E crews are excavating a gas-transmission line to test for hazardous conditions.

There are already problems on W Bayshore between Fabian and Oregon due to 101 widening as excavation trucks use Bayshore to dig holes or something on 101. There have been flagmen stopping traffic in one direction for the total distance and those attempting to leave office parking lots have no idea which way the stream is flowing until they see the cars. It has delayed me several times in the past few weeks.

I'm really worried about them getting Charleston done before Aug. 16. That road with a bunch of student bikers will NOT BE SAFE for the students. PLEASE BE FINISHED. There's no excuse for ignoring student safety at that level, if you end up doing so.
