Facebook deactivates a memorial page for a loved one in Iowa
Palo Alto Issues, posted by Larry Opal, a resident of the Palo Alto Hills neighborhood, on Jun 5, 2012 at 10:58 pm

Today I came home and as usual sat down at the computer to see if there are any now postings to my niece's memorial page, just to find out that Facebook has deactivated this account. My niece had passed away from a tragic car accident a year ago, she was seventeen and was ripped from our lives in a horrifying moment. She has a facebook page account and all of her friends and family visit this page daily to see any postings. I had put new pictures up just last week of her grave site so that people who live too far away can see how beautiful the flowers were.

I tried to find a number to contact Facebook to ask why this had been done. And to my dismany there is no live customer service for Facebook. Can anyone please help us to try to resolve this issue, for it has decimated an entire community that has used her page to help with the mourning of our loss. My e-mail is opalmn@yahoo.com

thank you in advance for any help

A grieving uncle that has lost so much already
