Baseball Mud

Original post made by Paul Losch on Jun 12, 2010

We are well into baseball season, Our Little League and Babe Ruth players are into their season's ends and the championships that
follow on.

In the major leagues, there is this new pticher for the Washington Nationals. Goood start with 14 SO's in his seven innings. Not a career yet.

There is an obscure aspect of the game to which I was reminded today. Baseball mud.

There is a mud that comes from somewhere in the Cheasapeke Bay area and is used to rub down new baseballs before a pitcher gets them. Every baseball all over the country.
