A Not So Perfect Baseball Game

In watching the replay several times, I feel that the pitcher did not have control of the ball. It was bobbled in his glove. By the time he had control, the runner had touched first base. The runner was safe. Good call by the umpire, even if was a mistake on his part (he did not make his call based on the bobble).

The game is a composite of all the calls, not just the last call. If you are going to review the call, review all close calls, or...
Just play ball.
