Menlo College outside hitter Courtney Calicdan has been dominant all season long for the Lady Oaks women’s volleyball team. On Monday, she was rewarded for her efforts.

Calicdan was selected as the California Pacific Conference’s Player of the Week as the senior from Honolulu helped Menlo split a pair of matches last week, including a sweep over former Cal Pac rival William Jessup. She recorded 36 kills, 31 digs and 3 aces.

Calicdan, with 120 kills in seven matches, moved into fourth place on the Menlo College all-time kills list. She’s also ranked third in the nation in kills per set (5.00) and is averaging 19 kills per match.

Calicdan also has 72 digs, second to Renn Isobe, averaging 10.1 per match. She also has a team-high 11 aces.

Menlo plays on Tuesday evening, hosting Holy Names University for a non-conference match at 7 p.m.
