Team USA wins first volleyball match at FIVB Grand Prix

Stanford grad Alix Klineman helped the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team beat Japan 25-27, 25-17, 25-22, 24-26, 15-11 in a FIVB World Grand Prix Pool A match Sunday in Ankara, Turkey. Kelly Murphy scored a match-high 21 points.

these volleyball players are really good. there is quite a tradition of great volleyball teams at Stanford. go and cheer them on to more successful seasons
