The information from our story was obtained from the Palo Alto team and from social media. Are the stories similar? Sure, because we have the same facts. Information on the upcoming tournaments can be taken off the Palo Alto Babe Ruth web site. I'm sure we'll have the same information from the NorCal State tournaments, as well. They talk to the coaches, as do we. Just because we don't have someone at the game doesn't mean we can't obtain the same information. There are so many ways to find out what happened at a game without having to be there. We have the e-mail addresses of all three Palo Alto all-star managers and it's easy to reach them. That's how we have the team photo. We also have all the rosters. The important thing is that all three teams receive the proper coverage during the postseason runs.

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
