Media Center to offer broadcast camp for East Palo Alto teens

East Palo Alto students will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with broadcasting in a camp to be offered by the Midpeninsula Community Media Center later this month.

Thank you Online for spreading the good news. We at the Media Center are honored to have been awarded this opportunity and look forward to partnering with the YMCA to bring these skills to youth and bring some EPA-based sporting events to TV and streaming on the web.

East Palo Alto has a large number of capital-related problems, which stem, in large part, from prior fiscal mismanagement and a low tax base. Spending tax money on this sort of activity is not the best use of public funds--given the tens upon tens of millions of dollars EPA needs for its facilties and infrastructure.
