April Fool's Day in June??

Original post made by Jim, Duveneck/St. Francis, on Jun 9, 2014

The latest instructional missive with your utility bill from the Utilities Department - in living color - must be a joke. Really!! Read the "Green Ways", summer 2104 "Plan a Waste Free Party". The city will LOAN complete paper table settings for 24 people - plates, bowls, tumblers, utensils, and tablecloths!!! Let us only hope that each recipient washes the dishes for the next party giver - or is the city hiring someone to do this?

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
