Thank you very much for supporting this event. As parents, it was very heartwarming to watch people come in with donations, kids having fun time with the fire engine and enjoying a game or two at the carnival put up by the Cadette Girl Scouts.

Really appreciate all the community members who took time to provide feedback on the overall planning / advertising / methods to get more of the community involved. It was a wonderful learning experience for the 8th graders who were running the show.

Message from our daughter:

I'm really grateful for everyone who came and donated at my event. We collected over 400 donations for the Ronald McDonald House!

A very special thank you to the PAFD, the City of Palo Alto, the Ronald McDonald house, and Girl Scouts of Palo Alto for working with me and helping me with my project. Also, a very special thank you to all my friends who came out to help me run the event. They really made everything work out.

This was a wonderful experience and has inspired me to do more for the community
