And yet every beer + coffee combination I've ever tasted has been, at best, a second-rate imitation of coffee or a second-rate imitation of beer.

I have had three different types of beer-coffee combinations, and I have to agree with greg. All have been I satisfactory.

I have actually had Cool Beanz twice, and in all honesty, it was the best of the three I had previously tried--but that isn't saying much. It was really just less bad than the other two. The second tasting just confirmed my original conclusion: dark beer, or any beer, and coffee do not mix.
