East Palo Alto council seat eyed by 16 applicants

Sixteen people have applied to fill the seat of former East Palo Alto Vice Mayor David Woods, who resigned in October, halfway through his term.

The Populus Of EPA Are Unsophisticated For Electing The Current Council. Do Any Of ThesE Potential Candidates Have A Business Background. We Need Revenue, Not Rhetoric.

Dear "Same old" -the appointment happens this Thursday night. Come out and voice your opinion to the council. The council will be voting live. Do you live in EPA? Some of the candidates are very qualified. If you don't agree get off the sideline and do something. Do you know someone that should have applied? Did you encourage anyone to apply? Be a part of the solution.

Laura Martinez loves her city of EPA (born and raised) and is always looking for the best for the city's needs.
I feel confident she has the best interest of EPA at heart.

Tina -Why Would I Waste My Time At The Meeting? The Only Ones Who Should Be Concerned Are The Ones Who Are Afraid Of Being Cut Off From Their Financial Endeavors.Increased Revenue Does Not Equal Gentrification.

Same old - if you were sophisticated, wouldn't you be researching the candidates to ascertain who has the best skill set, in your opinion, to be on the council?
