What is up with the SJ Mercury's Coverage of the SF Giants?

Original post made by Palo Parent, Greenmeadow, on Oct 3, 2013

I realize that this year's Giants are not in contention but the cover page of the sports section has zero coverage of the Giants?! I mean come on, they won the World Series two times in the last three years! You have to go to page 3-4-5 to find anything on them let alone a picture. This has been going on for some time not just in the last few months. The front page is A's this, 49ers & Raiders that. If it was an Oakland vs. SF thing it sure doesn't show up in the coverage between the 49ers and the Raiders?

Any thoughts?

Yes.

They're saving ink for the important coverage required for...

YOUR GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS and their run to the NBA Finals!!!!!!!!!!!
Steph, Bogut, Igloo Dolla, Klay, The Black Falcon and DLee. Watch out, NBA!

LGW!!!!!

Why are you writing to the Palo Alto Online site about coverage in the Mercury-News. Write to the Merc.
