Glass pumpkins dazzle

A display of more than 8,000 glass pumpkins drew up to 5,000 visitors on Saturday and Sunday at the Palo Alto Art Center.

The glass pumpkin patch is over? Already? Why so early this year? Isn't usually in October?

No, it's usually the last week in September and if you blink, you can miss it. I live near Embarcadero Road so I see the banner each year, otherwise, I'd forget! Even this year, when I knew, I arrived 15 minutes prior to the Sunday, 5:00 closing.
