Jay Paul development wins its first zoning battle

In a city teeming with major development applications, few fuel hopes and stir anxieties like Jay Paul's grand plan for 395 Page Mill Road. The project, which includes two large office buildings and a new police station, scored a major victory Wednesday when the Planning and Transportation Commission initiated a zone change that would make the development possible.

Is this the same commission who expected Maybell residents to be happy with a public benefit of "side walks"???

Something does not make sense....

The city's "independent" consulting architect, Michael Ross, who evaluated the adequacy of the current design, said he had worked with Jay Paul.
I guess that's Palo Alto's idea of "independent."
