Downed phone lines snarl traffic on Highway 101

Traffic in both directions was disrupted for about 45 minutes on U.S. Highway 101 in Redwood City this morning after phone lines fell across the roadway, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

According to the scant details in this article, the lines down were telephone lines, not power lines. Of course, the reporting could be wrong.
