Original post made on Nov 24, 2007

This is a most noble and worthwhile cause. The Burmese people need so much help and we can make a significant difference by donating our financial resources! Keep up the good work and let neighbors and friends know that they can buy NEW items at this sale for holiday gift giving. Friends and neighbors can drop items off up until Saturday night for this sale. The Monks thank you in advance for all those meals! (50cents=one morning meal). Anyhow, you did a great job Mom and we support this cause all the way!

Burma is yet another failed socialist state. It's command economy creates commanders that rule by force. If Palo Alto's HRC is going to do something usefual for Burma, it should start by condemning socialism. Only by digging out the roots of this poisonous weed, will Burma begin to recover. A simple vote to "support democracy" is meaningless.
