On Friday, March 17, Gunn played St. Francis in a non-league game.
At halftime, Gunn was down a point, 4 to 5.
In the last 7 minutes of the game Gunn tied up the game 7 to 7 but Saint Francis scored twice in the last few minutes.
The final score was 7 to 9. Sophomore Grace Williams had 2 goals and an assist followed by Juniors Becca Chapman and Jenilee Chen with 2 goals each, Junior Emily Axtell with one and Laurel Comiter with an assist. Senior midfielder Janis Iourovitski led draw controls and turnovers. Junior Anna Tsai, Sophomore Julia Stoneburner and Senior Lucy Augustine played great defense with multiple ground balls and turnovers. Senior goalkeeper Mikaela Wayne had 5 saves.
