The senior defended her Central Coast Section titles in the 400 (54.67) and 200 (24.33) to become only the second girl in CCS history to win back-to-back titles in those events while qualifying for the state meet.
Palo Alto track & field
The sophomore earned his first individual berths for the CIF State Meet by winning the 100 in 10.83, taking third in the 200 in 22.10 and running a leg on the second-place 1,600 relay that clocked a season best of 3:22.30.
