WINTER GARDENING ... Sheri Bohan, a professional gardener for 30 years, will offer a 10-week course, "Gardening in Winter," from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays, Jan. 9 to March 13, at Cubberley A-2, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. The next FabMo free fabric distribution event is Thursday, Jan. 10, from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 12, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments are required, to help manage the crowds (Email email@example.com with preferred date and time), but some drop-in hours are included.
