CITY COUNCIL ... The council plans to hear a "year in review" presentation from City Manager James Keene and elect its mayor and vice mayor. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, in the Council Chambers at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

CITY COUNCIL ... The council plans to meet in a closed session to discuss the salaries of council-appointed officers. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

UTILITIES ADVISORY COMMISSION ... The commission plans to discuss the proposed Utilities Reserves Management Practices and Financial Plan Templates; and the Water Utility Cost and Consumption Benchmarking Report. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, in the Council Conference Room at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION ... The commission plans to discuss a proposal to move Avenidas and Palo Alto Community Child Care out of the Human Services Resource Allocation Process; hold a panel discussion with local human-service case managers; and review the commission's subcommittee workplan. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, in the Council Conference Room at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

COUNCIL INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE ... The committee plans to continue its discussion on a potential revenue measure for the November 2014 ballot to pay for infrastructure improvements. The meeting will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, in the Council Conference Room at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
