SPECIAL DELIVERY ... Palo Alto police and paramedics came to the rescue of a Menlo Park woman on Aug. 18 who was giving birth at 3 a.m. in the El Camino Real parking lot of Chipotle Mexican Grill. The woman and her husband became lost on their way to Stanford Hospital, police Agent Adrienne Moore said. When it became apparent that birth was imminent, the couple parked at the restaurant and called 9-1-1. Police arrived first, assisting the soon-to-be-mother, and when medics got to the scene, they delivered the child, a boy. Mother and baby are said to be doing fine, Moore said.
