City Council (July 2)

Cell towers: The council approved a staff recommendation to solicit proposals for formulation of a citywide plan for wireless facilities. Yes: Burt, Espinosa, Holman, Klein, Scharff, Schmid, Shepherd, Yeh Absent: Price

Council Finance Committee (July 3)

Cost study: The committee discussed the methodology used in the ongoing cost-of-service study that the city is performing. Action: None

Council Rail Committee (July 5)

Rail: The committee discussed the budget appropriation bill for high-speed rail and directed staff to draft a letter expressing the city's opposition to the process used in drafting this bill. Yes: Unanimous
