Joel Leivick has taught photography and photography
history at Stanford since 1981. He's also the curator of photography at
the university's Cantor Art Center. His upcoming book, "Carrara: The Marble
Quarries of Tuscany," documents the Italian quarries through 44 photos.

Margo Davis is a longtime photography teacher whose
work is in several major collections. She teaches documentary and portrait
photography for the extension programs at the University of California,
Berkeley, and Santa Cruz.

Amy Saret is founder of The Photographer's Gallery
at 536 Ramona St. in Palo Alto. Her gallery features new exhibits every
eight weeks highlighting contemporary artists. She is a longtime member
of the Association of International Art Dealers.

Joe Melena is the Weekly's chief photographer. Before
joining the Weekly, Melena was a staff photographer for many years with
the Peninsula Times Tribune.
