Education Update (x2!) forum this Saturday
Simitian, Gordon to discuss school funding and current education legislation in Palo Alto

State Sen. Joe Simitian, D-Palo Alto, and state Assemblyman Rich Gordon, D-Menlo Park, Saturday will host Education Update (x2!), a discussion about school funding, current K-12 legislation and education issues. Palo Alto Weekly Education Reporter Chris Kenrick will moderate.

The event takes place Saturday, Nov. 17, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Palo Alto Unified School District Office Board Room, 25 Churchill Ave., Palo Alto.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees should RSVP online or call 650-688-6384, 408-277-9460 or 831-425-0401.

Wow, this would have been a great opportunity, I wish I had seen the notice before the event was over! It says this was loaded Friday night -- is there any way to hear about something like this with more advanced notice?

Will there be any newspaper or online report about this event? Would like to have known about it a few days in advance.

i got a robocall invite to join a "townhall discussion" with Joe. I wish you could have taken the call. I was not interested but maybe you could let his office know that you want to be on the robocall list.
