Police seek men in home-invasion robbery
East Palo Alto residents held at gunpoint after returning home

In a brazen home-invasion robbery, two men robbed an East Palo Alto couple at gunpoint when they returned home late Wednesday morning, Sept. 5, East Palo Alto police said.

The incident occurred in the 100 block of Jasmine Way near Daphne Way. The victims were not injured, Acting Captain Jeff Liu said.

The first man was described as a black adult male of average height and build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up; and the second man was described as a Hispanic adult male of average height and build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a mask.

Anyone who may have witnessed or has any knowledge of this incident is urged to contact the East Palo Alto Police Department by calling East Palo Alto Police Dispatch at 650-321-1112.

a black and a hispanic man of average build...that really narrowed down the possibilites!

ahaha @ Wow. Hmm, I think I saw him!

Yes, he was driving next to me on Middlefield, then I saw him behind me in a different vehicle within moments, then I saw him walking on Middlefield! He does get around, this black or hispanic male of medium build.

A few years ago, one of my students had a boyfriend that fit this description. The cops pulled him over on El Camino for driving a beater, which is not illegal, and knocked out a tail light so they could write him a ticket.
