 | Filmmaker Carolina Moraes-Liu presents a monthly series of videos focusing on how teenagers in Palo Alto are finding ways to volunteer throughout the Bay Area.
This fourth segment focuses on the Apple Tree Library Foundation, a nonprofit organization that "promotes English language competency in China through public/private collaborations." All books are purchased with money received through donations.
The foundations goals are "to establish public English language children's libraries in China, to partner with municipal governments to promote reading and education, and to introduce modern practices of public library management to China," according to the website.

Good job well done! What a way to contribute to our world of humanity. Education is the best tool for world peace. Books are invaluable and they give so many messages. Building common languages build a better common understanding for more people. Good training for our future leaders. Thanks for doing this!
