Menlo College junior Janelle Gaddy was named Cal Pac Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer on Monday.
Gaddy put together her best game of the season on the road against defending Cal Pac champion Embry-Riddle on Thursday in Prescott, Ariz. The midfielder scored a pair of goals in the second half to lead the Oaks past the Eagles, 2-0, and give Menlo its first conference road victory of the season.
Menlo also beat Carroll College on Friday, 1-0, on a goal by freshman Danielle McCarthy.
McCarthy is tied with Gaddy and Natalie Ingram for the team lead in goals this season with three. Gaddy, meanwhile, has played a large role in the Oaks' four-game winning streak and current 4-1 (2-0) overall record.
Menlo returns to action on Friday afternoon as the Oaks travel to Oakland for a rematch with Mills College at 3 p.m.
