PARKING
The Palo Alto Police will be directing all traffic the night of the event; PLEASE follow their instructions. Carpooling IS recommended.
Carpool drop-off at Ming's Restaurant. Volunteer parking at the Merrill Corporation - 1731 Embarcadero Rd.
COURSE
5K and 10K loop courses over Palo
Alto Baylands levee, through the marshlands
by the light of the Harvest Moon! Course is flat, USAT&F
certified (10K run only) on levee and paved roads. Water
at all stops.

Race Night Registration-- Friday, 10/2 at 6pm
Pre-registration fee is $25 per entrant (postmarked by September 25, 2009) and includes a long-sleeved t-shirt. -- OVER
Race-night registration is $30 and includes a shirt only while supplies last. A scantron card must be filled out at race-night registration.
Famliy Package: Children 12 and under run free with a registered adult. A completed entry form for each child must be submitted with an Adult registration.
Please indicate on form and include $15 for an adult small t-shirt. No confirmation of mail-in registration available.
Refunds will
not be issued for no-show registrations (and t-shirts
will not be held).
Please bring your gently worn athletic shoes to the Moonlight Run on Friday October 2nd. "From Our Feet" will be sorting and packing shoes
for shipments to Africa as part of a larger humanitarian aid mission along with Medical Supplies. Do not worry about your shoes' condition,
as shoes with heavy usage will be recycled--and diverted from a local landfill.

MINORS:
13 - 17 years of age
If not pre-registered Minors MUST bring signed parental/waiver

Age divisions: 9 & under; 10-12; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69, and 70 & over with separate divisions for
male and female
runners in each age group. Race timing provided for 5K and 10K
runs only; not 5K walk.
COMPUTERIZED
RESULTS by A Change of Pace
Race results will be posted on PaloAltoOnline.com 10am on 10/5. Registration forms must be filled out completely and
correctly for results
to be accurate. Race organizers are not
responsible for incorrect results caused by incomplete or incorrect
registration forms.

Alto Weekly Holiday Fund. A holiday-giving fund
to benefit Palo Alto area non-profits and charitable organizations.

HAVE OLD SHOES? GIVE 'EM TO MEB!
Please bring your gently worn athletic shoes to the Palo Alto Moonlight Run. The shoes will be sorted (heavily worn shoes are recycled), boxed and prepared for shipment to war zones and orphanages.
Please make sure to tie your shoes together before donating. The initial shipment will go to India (www.ruchika.org).
Children's shoes, soccer shoes and soccer balls are the most needed items.

They are welcome on the 5K walk only. No retractable
leashes! Please
bring your own clean-up bag. Jogging strollers welcome in the 5K

or at the back
