SportsGhost Run 5K
The Ghost Run 5K at Nealon Park will include a race, costume contest, Catch the Ghost activity and a family festival. The fastest runners and best costumes will be awarded with a pair of shoes from Fleet Feet Menlo Park. All finishers will receive a Ghost Run shirt. Oct. 25, 9:30-11 a.m. $40 general; $25 child. SportsTheta Breakers Run for the Children
The Stanford chapter of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority will host the 29th Annual Theta Breakers Run for the Children, a 5 and 10K run on Stanford campus. SportsUnited States Youth Volleyball League
The United States Youth Volleyball League in Palo Alto is about to kick off; registration will be open until Sept. 1. The 8-week program is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 15.
