'A Path Appears' film screening (Part 2)
The Oshman Family JCC will host screenings of the PBS trilogy, "A Path Appears," based on the popular book by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn. The second episode will visit West Virginia, Haiti and Colombia and tell stories of children and women who have broken out of cycles of poverty and abuse. Jan. 28, 7 p.m. Free. 'Hearts Of The Dulcimer'
The Woodside Library will host a screening of the documentary called "Hearts of the Dulcimer," which examines the California mountain dulcimer boom in the 1970s. The filmmakers, Patricia Delich and Wayne Jiang, will introduce the film, answer questions and demonstrate how to play the dulcimer. Jan. 31, 1-3 p.m. Free.
